Size: 0.78ct, 5.9x4.8mm
Cut: Oval - precision faceted by a master lapidary artist.
Colour: Light peach-pink with a hint of yellow. Appears more taupe in natural lighting and peach-pink in incandescent lighting. Very subdued, neutral colouring, not brightly saturated.
Clarity: Eye clean
Origin: Umba, Tanzania
Treatments: None
Designer's notes: A uniquely-hued bicolour peach-pink sapphire that is more neutral and reads as taupe in natural lighting. This stone is perfect if you are seeking a little bit of colour, but something more soft and subdued. Umba sapphires are famous for their characteristic inclusions and stunning colours, making this higher clarity stone rare for the origin. Like other Umba sapphires, it has a very special colour that is difficult to replicate. We recommend setting this stone in yellow gold to bring out the peach, rose gold to bring out more pink, or champagne gold for something in the middle.
